We are in Whangherei next to the falls (MASSIVE WATERFALL)
Em begrudgingly agreed to camp here tonight. Its a camp site so we had to pay to stay which goes against the wild camping policy. I bought a steak and cooked it on the gas BBQ… I love it here. Lots of wanky travel chat around us which we’ve been spared from so far by staying with kiwis. yesterday we stayed with a lovely family in waipu. They took us to caves, waterfall, a beach and gave us dinner,breakfast and lunch. Favourite family here so far, 3rd potential surrogate kiwi parents. Insisted we wore our high vis. This news will make both sets of parents happy no doubt. Night from NZ the tent calls
